We all need a bit of glam in our life don’t we. So, we’re loving this glam up north styled shoot on our city wedding blog this week. Set in Preston, North Lancashire at ivory tower.

Details

The Glam up North shoot was centered around the juxta position of different materials. Those being the stark concrete of the cake and the sleek copper. next to the delicate roses and beautiful detailing on the dresses they matched beautifully.

We wanted to show off the features of the venue. It has so many original areas and They have used contemporary pieces next to the original architecture.

I decided to use grey cloths in the dining area. This was to soften the whole mood but lift it with the gold cutlery and vases.

Florals

The floral styling uses a mix of ‘on trend’ pampas grass, dried grasses and cotton flower. thus Showing that not all bouquets have to be fresh flowers. The addition of the blush pink roses added the romantic element.

We kept the styling of the model quite bold. which I think works really well against the strong focal points and darker areas of the venue.

The black stationery and seating plan add to the drama against the candlelight and light installations.
