FUN WEDDING IDEAS FOR THE ULTIMATE PARTY
1. HAVE A PHOTO BOOTH
Who doesn’t love a Photobooth? A photo booth will appeal to the youngest of guests right up to your great, great, Granny.
Add a few props and a cool backdrop and you’ll keep people entertained and laughing for hours.
You’ll also get a copy of the fun and sometimes surprising photos to look back on.
Your wedding should be all about memorabilia to remind you of your awesome day.
If you have lots of space hire something like the wonderful Birdie Photobooth. Or if you’re a little stuck for space smaller table top photo booths are just as much fun.

2. PIMP YOUR PROSECCO
Pimp Your Prosecco Station. Are you having welcome drinks? Why not add some fun to your fizz with a table full of fun additions that your guests can experiment with?
You can buy DIY prosecco party kits and there are lots of signs over on Etsy.
Add an Acrylic sign and they will be a fab addition to guide your guests on what they should do to make the perfect fizz-tastic drink.
3. SINGING WAITERS
Give your guests the ultimate surprise with Singing Waiters.
Everyone will be shocked when they break into song and who doesn’t love a good old sing-song?
Request your favourite songs or a selection that will appeal to all of your guests to keep everyone smiling.
This will certainly be something your guests will remember and it totally brings the fun factor to your wedding reception.

4. Have a glitter bar
Who doesn’t love a Glitter Bar, we are sure your guests will too.
Look to hire a professional such as The Mobile Painting Parlour then your guests can request temporary tattoos, face painting and glitter a plenty.
Team this up with your photo booth so everyone will have great photos to look back on.

5. Lawn or outdoor games
If you have some outdoor space and a dry, warm day then lawn games are the perfect fun choice.
Choose things that all of your guests can join in with. Giant Jenga or Connect Four, Crazy Golf, Skittles, and Table Football to name a few.
Or why not organise a sack race, or a space hopper race and award prizes and trophies to the winner?
If you have a break between your ceremony and reception then this is a fun way to spend the time and gets everyone involved.
6. Hire a bouncy castle
While we are outdoors, a Bouncy Castle is always a winner.
We’ve seen some awesome photos of couples bouncing on their wedding day. A bouncy castle definitely keeps your little guests happy.
But as they pop off to bed the older members of the wedding party are sure to have fun having a bounce around too.

7. Hire Sky dancers
The ultimate entertainment is to hire an Aerial Acrobat.
Someone like the amazing Justina at Skydancers is not only an amazing athlete and entertainer on silks or a hoop.
But she can wow your guests with a stilted walk or even better she is also a fire eater. Your guests won’t believe what they are watching and you’ll all see a performance of a lifetime.

8. Photo scavenger hunt
A Photo Challenge is a fun way to get every guest involved in your wedding day. Leave a list on each table with the photos you’d like everyone to snap.
Grab the editable template above with a whopping 30% off, USE CODE: URBAN30.
Some ideas are; a kiss, something old, something new, holding hands, wedding bands, a stag, a hen, a favourite drink, the wedding bouquet, the first dance; the list is endless. Have fun with it.
Ask guests to post to a shared account so that after your wedding day you’ll have lots of happy and fun memories to look back over.
Everyone will have a different spin on each category and it means you get lots of cool shots you might not normally get. Remember to keep it fun.
9. live music
We love a Live Band or Live Music and so will you and your guests. A live band really gets the party started.
You can even ask your guests to let you know their ultimate dance track with their RSVP and you can request a cracking playlist that you know will appeal to everyone.
The same goes for a live DJ, we’re not talking cheesy 70s and 80s Smashy and Nicey we are talking superstar DJ level.
If this isn’t for you then hire a solo performer, a singer, a saxophonist or if you like something more gentle a string quartet or harpist.
10. Crazy golf
Yes, you heard that right! You can hire crazy golf for your wedding.
I have had a play with this one myself and it is so much fun. Your guests will love it, big and small.
We had this at a wedding fair and everyone loved it, it was being played the whole fair.

11. Have a pinata
Hang a Piñata or two for some wedding fun.
Check out Pinyatay who has some awesome designs that are quirky and cool. Or check out Etsy.
They will even custom make one off piñatas that are completely bespoke just for you.

12. A date night box
Along with or instead of your guest book leave a Date Night box.
Ask your guests to help you along in your first year of marriage by suggesting the ultimate date night ideas.
For extra fun keep them anonymous and see if you can both guess who suggested each date.
13. food trucks
Food and Drink Trucks are always fun wedding ideas, they get your guests mingling so much more than if they are seated at set tables.
Have a choice of 2 or 3 food trucks so that your guests can choose their own cuisine.
There are so many cute, quirky and downright cool drinks trucks around too from converted horse boxes, tuk tuks and even milk floats.

14. truth or dare game
Truth or Dare is a fun way for guests to get talking and mingling.
Make the cards bespoke for each table then you will know each guest’s comfort levels and you can make the dares as tame or as outrageous as you like.
Just don’t mix up the tables and give Great Aunt Lottie the twerking challenge (or maybe she’d love it!)

15. finish with a bang
Finish the night with a bang! Fireworks are great crowd pleasers and everyone will leave on a high.
It’s a great way to make an exit too and make sure you start married life with a sparkle in your step, leaving a line of sparklers instead of confetti.
Make sure you buy super long, slow burning sparklers for the best results and buy 2 or 3 for each guest.
16. Have an ice sculpture made
The first time I saw one of these, I was like OMG what event can we host to have one?
You can have anything from your actual drinks bar, animals, cakes!
They can be made to pour drinks into and also to make it fun and interactive for guests.
If you are looking for something epic, your guests will love and talk about forever, this is the one!
